I am a Holistic Nutritionist with over 25 years of experience in the world of Wellness. I hold two Culinary Arts degrees – one in Raw, Living Foods I received from Living Light Culinary Institute in California, and another in Holistic Healing Foods from the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. My formal education began as a Therapeutic and Medical Massage Therapist with a specialty in looking at the connection between trauma – whether that be mental, emotional, or physical – and physical symptoms. I have spent years studying the human body and the effects that toxic build-up from the environment, certain foods, and mental and emotional stress can have on us physically.
I approach health and wellness from the holistic perspective of treating the root cause of any imbalance. I focus on the person as an individual and take into consideration their lifestyle and specific needs.
I support others in creating an individualized plan that begins at the base of restoring the body to optimal health. I support life as a whole, with insights and information on the most appropriate way to incorporate nutrition, herbs, and other natural remedies into everyday living. I base my practice on the belief that we cannot heal the part without looking at the whole.
There is so much information “out there” and everyone seems to have “the” answer. I dedicate my focus to helping you stop the guessing game. My practice is about the awareness that only YOUR body has YOUR answers. I believe if you are willing to embrace your answers, and all that means, the body balances and finds it’s sweet spot of optimum wellness.
So the fun begins in finding your tools. Once we begin that process, we can then reintroduce the body to remember how to be well. And this is where miracles happen! The most beautiful thing is that the body responds to changes like this immediately.
